02-How to install Xcode Tools
Download and install Xcode Tools with X11 SDK tutorial
To install packages from source with Fink, you need the Apple Developer Tools (Xcode) installed.
You can find Xcode:
- from the Xcode Tools CD that came with Panther
- after you register for free, you can get them from the:
Apple Developer Connection - on your hard disk at directory Application>Installer>Xcode Tools
Double click on Developer.mpkg icon
After license agreement select Ad hoc install button
This will allow you to select the X11 SDK checkbox, which is by default not selected
Click on Install button
