eyeOS as App forge for iPhone

Posted by frank Catanzaro at June 30. 2007
I loved you post about eyeOS and the iPhone. I had forgotten about eyeOS and was pleasantly surprised to se how far it has come.

I installed version 1.0 on a server and got it working in advance of my buying an iPhone. When I started testing the iPhone with eyeOS it seemed login in fine and I could select menu items from the little menu button at the bottom of the screen but I could not launch any applicaitons by touching their icons.

I am wondering if there are any Java or Flash dependancies in eyeOS, as the iPhone in it's current release does not support either.

I don't think is there any flash but perhaps some java. I've open a thread about eyeOS on iPhone here where are discussing about this. The better place to ask about eyeOS are their forums.
My screenshots were done by iPhoney that is like Safari. The idea is that what is working with Safari should work also on iPhone.
I think that we are quite pioneers about this.

Thanks for your feedback.
