Portable Adium not able to auto-update to 1.1.1

Hello,
I tried to auto-update to version 1.1.1 of Adium through auto update. I run Portable Adium from a disk image and that is causing the error. Apparently the Adium thinks it does not have permission to write directories.
Just wanted to let you know in case it is something on the Portable Adium side. I have also posted on the Adium forum.
