Mozilla 1.8 Alpha 6 has been released.

This latest alpha version of the Mozilla Application Suite features around 450 bug fixes. The Mozilla 1.8a6 Release Notes have more details; there's no What's New section yet but a rough changelog of 1.8a6 fixes is available.

Mozilla 1.8 Alpha 6 can be downloaded from the mozilla1.8a6 directory on ftp.mozilla.org. This would be the last alpha release of Mozilla 1.8, and the trunk has been opened for 1.8 beta development. As previously reported, Firefox 1.1 and Thunderbird 1.1 would be built off the 1.8 branch, and are scheduled for a March release.
