NeoOffice 2.2.3 Patch 2 released and new Media Browser testing

by Gand last modified 2008-04-15 11:24 AM

NeoOffice now supports horizontal movement in scrollwheels, trackballs, and trackpads.

One of the most requested features for NeoOffice has been horizontal scrollwheel support but, due to some technical limitations, we were unable to add that feature. Recently we were able to find solutions to those technical limitations and we are pleased to announce that NeoOffice now supports horizontal movement in scrollwheels, trackballs, and trackpads. We have included this new scrollwheel support in NeoOffice 2.2.3 Patch 2.

Also, we would like announce our plan to add Media Browser support in the next NeoOffice patch release in early May 2008. If you would like to help test the new Media Browser, please visit the following NeoWiki article for links to the most current test patch and discussion forum topics:

Patch 2 can be downloaded from the following URL:

3012 - Mail merge document window opens with wrong size

Please do not reply to this e-mail address as this address is not monitored. If you have any support questions, please visit the NeoWiki or post a question in the NeoOffice Support forum:

Also, please post any bugs that you find in Bugzilla so that we can continue to improve NeoOffice:

Please note that since NeoOffice is tested by the NeoOffice user community, it may still have some undiscovered bugs that may cause NeoOffice to crash. If you feel that you need software that has been heavily tested, we recommend that you use a commercially-supported product like Microsoft Office or Apple iWork.
