12 minutes screencast on how to configure free VirtualBox to install and run Ubuntu 7.10 on MacBook OS X 10.4. No audio, keep note on.

Here is a screencast on how to install Uuntu 7.10 using free innotek VirtualBox, get it from here.
So just download Ubuntu ISO, install VirtualBox and set the ISO as CD/DVD-Rom.
Open it, wait for Live CD and then run the easy installer.
